Sun Wellness Acupuncture in Boston has served thousands of local general public since 2009 in Greater Boston Area. We are dedicated to assisting each individual in the personal restoration critical to a higher quality of life by offering the latest advancements in the treatment, diagnosis, education and prevention of illness. Our philosophy is based on the concept that we are each have the ability to heal ourselves naturally.
Sun Wellness Acupuncture in Boston believe in treating the constitutional root of an illness rather than the symptoms along in order to address and support the health of the individual more fundamentally; symptoms will be eliminated only after the root of disease has been treated. After a thorough examination, we will then design a customized treatment plan to restore you to optimum health and well-being. Above all, we strive to regulate the imbalances that you experience in your body and mind whether due to emotional stress, physical trauma, an improper diet, environmental factors or genetic predispositions.

Meet the team
Dr. Sunyoung Lee OMD
Sunyoung Lee holds an OMD (NV), a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DAcCHM) from Pacific College of Health and Science, and a certificate from the Harvard Medical School SQIL (Safety, Quality, Informatics, and Leadership) program. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist in both Massachusetts and Nevada and a National Board-Certified Herbalist. In 2009, she founded Sun Wellness Acupuncture, where she focuses on pain management and specializes in women’s health and fertility support. Her professional goal is to support the body’s natural healing process and guide patients toward optimal health and wellness.
Mandy Tsui Lic. Ac
Mandy is a licensed acupuncturist in MA. In hopes to continue giving patients outstanding care, she is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization at Pacific College of Health and Science. She earned her Master’s in Oriental Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture with an undergraduate background in Public Health and psychology. Outside of the clinic, Mandy enjoys hanging out with friends, rock climbing, and spending time outdoors. Her goal is to help patients heal holistically by addressing the physical and emotional aspects of health, giving patients a better quality of life.
Ada Kwan Lic. Ac
Ada is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Massachusetts and a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health Sciences, with an expected completion date of August, 2026. Ada looks forward to providing care to patients in need of a path towards natural healing. In her free time, Ada enjoys embracing new experiences, discovering great food, and exploring new places.
Yasmine Owen Lic. Ac
Yasmine is a licensed acupuncturist in MA and RI. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Human Development from Eckerd College. After several years of working in a lab and in the health care industry, she pursued and earned a Masters’ degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from New England School of Acupuncture. Her goal is to continue her studies in health care and to provide Eastern medicine to as many individuals as possible.
Ramon Meza Lic.Ac.
Ramon is a licensed acupuncturist in MA with a clinical focus on orthopedic acupuncture, specializing in the treatment of pain, sports injuries, and movement-related conditions. He earned his Master’s degree in acupuncture and has additional academic training in health and science-related fields, allowing him to integrate both Eastern and Western approaches to patient care. With a background as a tennis coach and competitive athlete, Ramon brings a unique understanding of biomechanics and the physical demands of sport. He is currently also working part-time as a clinical researcher acupuncturist at Mass General Brigham’s Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where he contributes to evidence-based approaches for pain management and recovery. His goal is to help patients recover efficiently, move better, and return to the activities they love through personalized, results-driven care.
Emily Kwan
Emily graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she cultivated her deep love for artistic expression and creative exploration. With a strong passion for both the arts and holistic wellness, she brings a unique and thoughtful perspective to her work at Sun Wellness Acupuncture. Emily is especially drawn to helping others and finds great fulfillment in creating a welcoming, supportive environment for patients. She takes pride in being part of a team dedicated to improving the well-being of every individual who walks through the door.
